Organogenesis Knee Pain Study

Do you have knee pain from osteoarthritis?

We are looking for men and women ages 18 years or older with knee pain from osteoarthritis. This is a clinic-based study that involves one injection to the painful knee.

Is this study right for me?

Osteoarthritis of the knee currently is estimated to affect over 90 million people in the US. Knee replacement surgery is effective in the treatment of severe OA; however, delaying or avoiding surgery would be preferable if there were therapies that effectively managed patient symptoms or potentially even slowed, stopped, or reversed the joint damage in OA.

This study is open to patients between 18 and 80 years of age with mild to moderate arthritis of the knee. A regenerative medicine product is administered through a one-time knee injection. Patients will be followed in the study for one year.

If accepted for this study, you will receive free study-related medical care and insurance is not required.

What is osteoarthritis of the knee?

Osteoarthritis of the knee happens when cartilage in your knee joint breaks down. When this happens, the bones in your knee joint rub together, causing friction that makes your knees hurt, become stiff or swell.
