Providers at the Napa Pain Institute work closely with the Napa Surgery Center to offer our patients the latest, most advanced treatments and techniques for pain and neurologic disease, specializing in neuromodulation and minimally invasive procedures for pain relief.
Napa Surgery is also tailored to host small and medium-sized group sessions, our facility provides a unique translative teaching environment utilizing advanced video-conferencing, a licensed and Medicare certified operating room and a fully equipped laboratory with up to three training stations.
Napa Surgery Center was formed by Dr. Eric Grigsby in 1992 and has evolved into Neurovations, a patient care, and innovation company. Meet Hilary Cromwell, Manager Napa Surgery Center and Neurovations Research
Hillary Cromwell began with Neurovations as a Nursing Administrator in 2012. She went on to manage and open the Spine and Pain Center of Kaua’i in 2014 before landing dual roles as the Manager of the Surgery Center and Neurovations Research Division.
As the Manager of Research at Neurovations, Ms. Cromwell has spoken on topics such as Patient Safety and Regulatory Issues and Surgical Safety. She has taken part or led research studies that include double-blind, Placebo-controlled trials on patients with Chronic Lower Back Pain, Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, post-market device studies and more.
Ms. Cromwell holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing as well as an Associates Degree in Nursing from Pacific Union College in Angwin, California. She also holds an Associate of Arts from Napa Valley College.

My dual roles affords me the unique opportunity to further the science and innovation at Neurovations while staying grounded in the actual work of healing and hope at the surgery center.
