We are looking for a full-time Medical Assistant (bilingual a plus- Spanish speaking preferred) for our busy medical clinic in Santa Rosa. Redwood Pain Institute is part of the Neurovations family of patient care and innovation. Are you ready to help us grow?
This is a full-time position that is the first touchpoint for our patients. Ideal candidates will possess an enthusiastic, empathetic, and professional approach to patient care. We aim to provide the best care for every patient, every day.
Job Responsibilities:
- Exam room preparation and cleaning
- Rooming patients
- Taking vitals
- Stocking rooms
- Supply kit preparation
- Pull reports as required for daily appointments
- Specimen collection
- In-office injections
- Assist providers with procedures
- Assist providers with medication refills
- Presentation of questions and phone messages to the provider
- Present labs & x-ray reports for provider sign off
- Retrieve patient phone messages and return calls in a timely fashion
- Weekly oxygen inspection and log
- Obtain PARS/CURES reports
- Accommodate research as needed
- Assist with therapeutic ultrasound as required
- Other duties as assigned
Candidate Qualifications:
- Bi-lingual (Spanish speaking) highly preferred
- Must possess a professional appearance and demeanor
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize, multi-task and maintain accuracy and productivity
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
